Pallavi Malik is a renowned forensic science professional with extensive experience and expertise. She currently serves as an Assistant Forensic Officer at Bureau of Investigation, Punjab Police. Her nature of duties involves evidence and crime scene management and providing scientific assistance and expertise to the police in the process of investigation. Pallavi is also Content Creator of the YouTube channel @FORENSIXFORU, where she shares her knowledge and teaching aptitude in the field of Forensics. She has also worked at CFSL Chandigarh as a Forensic Professional in the Forensic Biology, Serology and DNA division and Cyber Forensic division. Her previous roles include investigative journalist at Alive Magazine (a product of Delhi press), assisting eminent crime journalist, prison reformer and media educator Dr. Vartika Nanda. She has also worked as an Asst. Professor of Forensic Science at Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, where she taught subjects like Forensic Ballistics, Forensic Biology, Serology and DNA, Fingerprints, Questioned Documents, Crime Scene Management and Forensic Psychology. She later worked as a Forensic Professional in Forensic Biology, Serology and DNA division of State Forensic Science Laboratory, Punjab, where she was involved in handling cases in disputed paternity and maternity, POCSO, sexual assault and Human Identification. Her academic journey includes an M.Sc. in Forensic Science from the National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Science, a double Master’s in Mass Communication, Journalism and Advertising, a Bachelor’s degree from Scottish Church College, University of Calcutta in Botany (Hons). Pallavi possesses diverse technical skills and is committed to continuous professional development through workshops, certifications, and conferences in forensic science and related disciplines.
