Course Overview

The Multimedia Forensics Certification program offers a comprehensive approach to the forensic analysis of multimedia evidence. Participants will learn about audio, image, video evidence, and perform basic to advanced forensic analysis. The course covers a wide range of topics, including audio, image, and video evidences. This program also emphasizes the legal admissibility of multimedia evidences.

This 3-month online course offers an in-depth exploration of advanced techniques, including specialized tools and methods for forensic analysis of multimedia evidences and report making.

Course Objectives

  • Understand the fundamentals of Multimedia Forensics, including its role in digital forensics, applications in law enforcement, legal proceedings, and corporate investigations.
  • Develop skills in audio analysis, including voice identification, authenticity verification, and noise analysis.
  • Learn techniques for image forensics, including source identification and tampering detection.
  • Explore video forensics techniques for tampering detection and content authentication.
  • Apply ethical and legal principles to multimedia forensic investigations and court admissibility.
  • Use forensic tools and software for multimedia content analysis, including tampering detection and report preparation.
