Dr. Amar Pal Singh Shokeen currently serves as the Assistant Director of Chemistry at the Forensic Science Laboratory in Delhi. With a tenure spanning back to 1994, he brings extensive experience in the Chemistry Division of the laboratory. Previously, he held the position of Ad-hoc Lecturer at the Department of Criminology & Forensic Science at Sagar University. Dr. Shokeen has also served as a Link Officer to the Head of Office at the Regional Forensic Science Laboratory in ChanakyaPuri, New Delhi.

His contributions extend beyond routine duties, as he has played integral roles in various committees, including those involved in the establishment of Regional Forensic Science Laboratories and the Crime Scene Management Division. Throughout his career, Dr. Shokeen has held positions such as Public Information Officer, Deputy Quality Manager, Welfare Officer, and Pairvi Officer at FSL Delhi.

Dr. Shokeen’s expertise is reflected in his extensive casework, having examined and reported on approximately 5000 cases and 15000 exhibits. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from AIFS and AINT at Amity University, Noida. He holds a master’s degree in Forensic Science from Dr. H.S. Gaur University, Sagar, and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Botany, Agro-Chemicals, and Pest Control from Delhi University. Additionally, he has completed certificate courses in Forensic Science and LLB from Delhi University.

Dr. Shokeen’s commitment to professional development is evident through his participation in various training programs, seminars, and symposiums at national and international levels. Furthermore, he has made significant contributions to the field through his research publications in various esteemed national and international journals.
