Glimpses of Week 4 session of CCIFS’ Certificate Course in Forensic Science, in collaboration with BEB and Jamia Hamdard.
We had the privilege of having PALLAVI MALIK, Assistant Forensic Officer, Bureau of Investigation, Punjab Police as resource person. The session focused on the examination of various biological fluids commonly encountered in forensic labs, including blood, semen, hair, and saliva.

Ms. Malik, with her extensive expertise in the field, provided participants with detailed insights into the processes involved in analyzing these biological samples. Students gained a deeper understanding of the methodologies, techniques, and challenges associated with forensic examination, particularly when dealing with biological fluids.

Throughout the session, attendees had the opportunity to engage with the expert, asking questions and discussing real-world scenarios to further enhance their learning experience. Christ University School of Law Hosts Fascinating Forensic Science Showcase

We had the pleasure of hosting the bright minds from School of Law, Christ University.
We showcased a range of tests performed in forensic divisions, from toxicological Analysis of poisons to blood examination and grouping. Students also got the exposure to deleted data retrieval, questioned document examination as well as crime scene investigation.

The Centre For Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science (CCIFS) recently conducted a Workshop on Crime Scene Investigation and Forensic Science at Chanderprabhu Jain College of Higher Studies & School of Law . The workshop showcased various facets of forensic science, including crime scene investigation and management techniques, forgery detection, counterfeit currency examination, fingerprint development, lifting, comparison, and examination of biological evidence.

Dr. Tabish Sarosh (OPC) PVT.LTD & CCIFS organized a practical session  on “Fingerprints Analysis” and it was conducted by Mr Alok Mehta, Senior Scientific Officer, Document Division, Forensic Science Laboratory, Rohini, Delhi for the associates and interns.

In the workshop sir discussed the techniques of collecting fingerprints from crime scene, preservation and analysis of fingerprints. He also discussed the classification and individual characteristics of fingerprints.
