Mr. Sarveshttham Kumar possesses a wealth of experience exceeding a decade in the realm of forensic science. Currently serving as the Assistant Director and Divisional Incharge of the Toxicology Section at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), CID, Home (POLICE) in Bhagalpur, Bihar, Mr. Kumar has showcased exceptional proficiency across various domains.

His responsibilities encompass managing a vast jurisdiction, spanning two zones and four ranges, covering sixteen districts. Mr. Kumar has been instrumental in establishing regional and mobile Forensic Units as well as FSLs. Furthermore, he demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in handling legal matters of crime cases in both High Court and Session Lower Courts.

Apart from his core duties, Mr. Kumar assumes the role of a Representative Officer in high-stake HQ Meetings, engaging with eminent officials such as the DGP, ADGP/CID, DM, DIG, SSP, and SP. His leadership acumen is evident as he concurrently fulfills multiple vital positions, including Building Incharge, Purchasing Committee Member, Office Head Incharge, and Account CFMS HRMS Checker, overseeing finance, treasury, and instrumentation. Additionally, his role as Security Incharge and Crime Scene PO Incharge underscores his unwavering commitment to upholding professionalism.

Previously, Mr. Kumar served as a Senior Scientific Officer, attaining the title of Junior Forensic Assistant and Chemical Examiner – Reporting Officer, accredited and endorsed by an NABL team. During his tenure, he reported on over 280 cases, reflecting his dedication and exceptional forensic prowess.

Mr. Kumar’s journey in forensic science commenced with roles as a Personal Assistant to Smt. Deepa Verma, Director of FSL and former DD of FSL-I/C Doc. Div., which further solidified his foundational knowledge in the field. His academic pursuits are equally commendable, holding diplomas in Photo, Law, and Cyber (Computer), with ongoing pursuit of a Certificate Course in Human Rights from UP RT Open University, Allahabad, U.P. His unwavering commitment to continuous learning and professional development underscores his dedication to advancing forensic science
